Interested in your opinions

A friend of mine wants to get Glass Curtains for his Apartment, but he only goes over 3 times a year max, he had issues with a bedroom before were there was a crack in the bedroom wall, which was sorted but the builder did say it pays to have ur window slightly open when ur not here , so hes thinking if he gets these Glass Curtains done and only over a few times would this be more of a headache with Ventillatiion ?
THE two Airconditioning is out on balcony too if this was put together
