 Luckily it is walking distance from the town centre as the bus service that goes closest is not very good. Its also a bit of a   trek, through the town to the beach-----carrying all beach equipment too.

There are some high rise blocks that I have not seen inside but  "ready to move into for 55,000euros" doesnt sound great to me. It  really does depend on the location, so  I recommend that you come and visit  & look around before you get swayed by advertising

... everything. Did find a couple of tiny properties in Quesada and a couple in La Marina but they were too tiny

Moving further inland will always give you more choice for your money but ,I live one street from the beach  with no car,  so being on a route with 3 buses to choose  from was important for me...... choose what is important to you, its all about compromise!

I cant help with suggestions as Im not sure what your budget will buy these days  but, if you see anything that sounds good, go and view.!! Check distance to all important amenities ( consider the intense heat of summer if walking)  remember places that are quiet in winter come alive in summer  with owners/visitors etc and can be noisy.

Ive been in some  high rise apts  in Torrevieja town  that have had very nice rental apts with pleasant views,one bed, communal pool, sometimes a lift, but, only visiting, so didnt know sale prices etc.

Choose carefully, its expensive if you get it wrong.

...oomed flats in the area for around €55K ready to move into not listed on the internet, so I know it's doable, but I need the extra 2nd bedroom. Investors usually get them at that price, do them up and sell on. It's just getting them before the investors do. I'm hoping private sellers might be reading this forum and sell to a private cash buyer like me first :) Please send me a PM if there's anything available, I'm a cash buyer and can move quickly.
