We are moving to torretas 3 and we are fitting a post box to the property outside wall. Do we have to register the post box anywhere.

No you do not need to register your post box attached to your property on your outside wall. However, not all town halls arrange for your post to be delivered to your post box at your house. Some town halls have their own post boxes that are allocated to you by the Town Hall, just go along and fill in a form and pay a small deposit for the key and your post will be delivered there for you to pick up. Ask your neighbours does the Correos [postal delivery service in Spain] deliver to your house or do you have to get a post box from your Town Hall, they will be able to tell you. You still need the post box on your wall for other people to deliver things to you that are local or circulars.
