Were thinking of coming to live in or near her- has anyone ideas of rent.
Were looking for cheapest rent possible.

In the meantime, the largest property portal in Spain is Kyero - I've done a search, based on apartments in Torrevieja, ordered by price, starting with the cheapest:

Rent usually starts from around €300 per month for a studio flat on long term rental (around 6 months) - from €350pm for 1 bed, just to give you some idea. Hope that helps

Hola have you taken Balsicas into account ? on Sierra Golf is many properties
for some information look online for propertunities www.propertunities.es
Take a look on a map from San Javier to Murcia on the RM19 it is not that far from Torrrevieja plus in the new year tolls will be no longer in use on that part of the motorway
