If you go to the beach, only take what you need. Minimal amount of cash. Read on Facebook that a man had his bag stolen by a thief on the La Mata beach at Blondy’s while he’d gone for a swim
This is nothing new It’s happened over the years. We all carry expensive items with us and shouldn’t have to worry about thieves but they want to relieve us of our iPhones, kindles, iPads , sunglasses, credit cards, money or anything else of value
Give some thought and don’t make it easy for them , try to put a handle from your beach bag under the leg of your deckchair, keep the bag zipped. Don’t pull out a wad of cash when paying for something.

Please be careful and don’t ever carry your passports anywhere take a photograph of it and print it out. Carry that for ID but leave your passport in the safe Driving licence should remain in the glove compartment of your car.
Do not give these rotten opportunists a chance to rob you
Enjoy relaxing on the beach
Just a thought. If you have a cool bag with you, it might be a better place to keep small valuables eg in a Tupperware container. Room for car keys and credit card!
