Weather

Hot and cloudy all week. Forecast rain for next week (which we haven't had for a long, long time except for the tiniest amount) and is desperately needed. 

We were over staying one Easter which was early as it is to be this year. It rained for 4 days.  Torrential rain pouring constantly for 4 days and nights. Grey skies. Nothing to do. Our Sky tv wouldn’t work as the signal was compromised by the terrible weather. We managed to arrange Netflix and sat watching back to back episodes of Outlander until the rain stopped. Yes, the country needed the rain for sure but it was a strange Easter celebration. Driving was too dangerous so no escape. Once the rain finally stopped and the sun came out, our lives changed!  Skies were blue, people appeared out walking with dogs or friends. Cars travelled as normal. Sun beds were occupied by sun worshippers, life resumed as before. Joy of joys, normality had returned.  I will never forget it nor will all the other people who were in Torrevieja at that time.

BBC weather, not always accurate but a guide to what you can expect. Hopefully it does not turn into the Easter that Grannyrose experienced a few years ago! The ideal being heavy overnight rain, sun during daylight hours!

I still love Spain!!  it’s just that we all mentally think that Spain is wall to wall sunshine and it is… usually but just occasionally it does rain and when it does, boy, does it rain!!   Forecast is pretty good. Enjoy.
