Hi everyone

I thinking about moving to Spain end  of this year ,actually Alicante- Torrevieja.  In last 5 years I'm living and working in Ireland.  Working in barber shop last 5 years but before that 10 years I spent in unisex salon in Serbia.

I wondering how is there about my job, how hard is to find and how important is speak Spanish for a start.  I understand language and can't speak but need practise.

Thanks!

If you have a skill, you should find work.Everyone needs a hair cut!

You could consider taking a small area at the weekly markets and cutting hair. I’ve seen ladies doing this and many people queuing for their turn. You are a barber so that would appeal to men.

If you are a businessman , you could make a good living. Not sure what men pay for a haircut but I imagine it isn’t a lot. Perhaps someone could tell you.
If you want to live in Spain, a good barber could do well. Good luck.
