Does anywhere sell quality tents and hiking gear?

I've been searching for weeks now.

I want a high quality 65l rucksack,

2 man, 2 skin professional tent

Seems no where in Alicante area offers this. I've been to so many shops and asked and every one said no :(

Surely somewhere sells tents, rucksacks and hiking boots? This country is crazy i don't understand how people buy stuff here cuz even if you order it online it takes 2 months then doesn't turn up anyway and you have to get refunded cuz the post system barely works.

:( Sorry to rant but I'm not happy. Spain doesn't seem to have basic shops that you would find any where else in europe in any town. Why not?

If I were in your situation, and assuming they're still as good as they used to be, I'd order the tent and rucksack online from Cotswold Outdoor. They do free delivery on orders over £100 and say four days delivery to Spain:

It obviously depends on what sort of walking you do, but I found out that my boots are a bit more than I need for walking in the Spanish climate, where it's often hot and seldom wet, so I use walking shoes instead.

i find it hard to believe that decathlon hasnt got all that, and of course in spain you dont need the same sort of gear that you would in say uk,(as jim rightly points out)

Had a lot of probs recently ordering stuff online with banks and post >:( trying my best not to become frustrated - main thing I need is some good hiking shoes these ones are done!!

I think my point is true though theres a deffo lack of shopping facilities around the area. People should be starting businesses here they'd make a fortune. Therres not even a fish n chip shop or a kebabby in my area!! Its crazy. Theres about 30 pizza shops tho lol.

If anyones looking to move from UK and open business this really is ripe for oportunity. Someone cud make a fortune with some UK style shops in torreviejva and la mata areas.
