Can anyone help. I have my S1 form. I am retired and receive a government pension, and wish to apply for residencia. Does anyone know if I need private health insurance as well. Thank you.

No you don't.
When you go to an INSS office with your S1, as it says on the form, you will then be able to use the Spanish health service, so no need for PHI.

How long does it take to register an S1 form? I have paid someone to deal with mine and it was submitted end of December and still nothing
