Hi all,

I have a problem with a blockage of some sort in one ear since getting off the plane over a week ago (21st Jan). I don't think it's wax, but not sure what else it could be caused by. I would like to get it looked at by a doctor who speaks English. I am in Altos del Limonar, Torrevieja. Also would this cost me anything if I have an up to date EHIC card?

Any recommendations please?

TIA

Yvonne

You can also overcome the problem installing a free "talking" translation app to your smartphone.

Hola you need to go to La Loma centre salud it is not far from you not all but some of the doctors speak English the best way is take a translator with you ,you need to take  you EHIC and you passport your other alternative  is go to the private hospital  but you will have to pay.

Thank you, I did go to La Loma and was seen by a doctor there. I used Google translate app on my phone as she didn't speak English. This worked very well. I also took My EHIC card and passport so it only cost me the price of the prescription. Thanks again
