A week ago,a neighbours wife had a stroke.

In his panic he took her to Quiron Hospital, just 10 mins from here.

After surgical treatment, and a weeks stay in Quiron,he has received bills for around

€14.000.

Anyone know if he can have her transferred to Torrevieja Hospital?

He had a temporary SIP,but now has a permanent one.

Thank you.

that is something to ask the hospital or to discharge her and go to the public hospital.

I am guessing the first port of call was a private facility? the bill will still need to be paid.

Why did not they call nine11 or the equivalent here 112 - that is a guess & i do not have a nine on my computer so sorry for the spelling out of nine?

Plus, if HE has a SIP then it does not transfer or included his wife; she would be required to have her own.

We asked the same question of him.

He panicked when he saw his wife so poorly, and just went to the nearest hospital, which is a private one.

Gracias.
