I have paid someone to deal with my S1 form as I said before they sent everything off 29th Dec....I am still waiting.  is this usual?

We had our S1 registered with local help, it took 4 weeks but both my wife and I are now registered. Also our wait for TIE cards is up this week so everything should be dealt with. Unless someone decides to add another hurdle!

Thank you for letting me know this.  I have said to the person dealing with this for us that I cannot believe it is taking this long and why is it taking this long?  9 weeks and nothing.  When you employ someone to do these things for you it is then out of your hands.  I now don’t know what to di

You definitely shouldn't have to wait that long it's all done online and then you receive a letter in the post. our application didn't go in until the last week of January, I was told to let them know if it didn't arrive in the 4 weeks and they would chase them up. Hope you haven't paid for the service you're getting.

Oh yes I have.  They don’t do anything till you pay. The best of it is I had gone to another person to deal with it in Nov.  When I chased her up in Dec she said everything was so busy and passed me onto another person to deal with it.  You are just at their mercy really

I went for my residency last August using a company and recieved my TIE in November. I was told that I should get my health care by tagging onto my partners who is of retirement age, as long as I had an S1 from UK of which I have and produced this.

This is not the case and I was refused my health care.

Yes . You can register at any INSS office. We had to go top Denia , but it was quicker than waiting for an appointment in the Torrevieja  region.

Hi, how did you get an appointment in Denia to register your S1?  I have been trying to ring them for over a week but have no reply every day?  I am a pensioner and am now having to pay for my medicines.  Any advice would be much appreciated.   Jx
