I made an appointment via the GVA app but a bit confused as it says telefonica.
Does that mean the doctor phones me and I do not attend at the clinic at the specified time or do I still go to the surgery?
Yes the doctor will usually call you but don’t panic if they call later than stated.
When I ring to update prescriptions they don’t even call me but when I check the app later it has all been updated.

So if I want to actually see him about something is it then he gives me another appointment?

Hello
A telephone appt. didnt work for me as my Dr speaks no English & I'm always accompanied by a translator when I see her as my spanish is not reliable enough for medical details. The salud couldnt not give me a time for the call so I couldn't arrange anything. Next afternoon,2 messages from reception in limited English raised more queries from me that they couldn't answer & I wasn't offered a visit to see the Dr.
I really hope your appt is more successful than mine
