Best to go to your Spanish solicitor. He or she will arrange this through a notary. It is completely separate from your Irish Will. It's not cheap. Shop around. Suggest ABC solicitors off N332 near Punta Prima.

If your will is going to be complicated, with multiple beneficiaries and conditions tied to bequests, setting up trusts, etc then, yes, you may need to use a solicitor.

However, for the majority of people, you can skip the solicitor and go direct to a notary:

I didn't know that. I made the will when I purchased in 2002. Good info.

It was the same for my wife and myself, because at the time the notaries weren't doing them directly for people, so we had to pay the excessive fee required by a solicitor.
