Does anyone know what the new wording (changed because of Brexit) needs to be used in a Spanish Will. Thanks

Nothing has changed. Spain has always had different inheritance rules to the U.K.

If you have assets in both Spain and the U.K. you have always required two wills, but your Spanish will should specifically state exactly how you assets are divided.

Spanish property does not automatically pass to the remaining spouse on death.

The thing you need to watch out for in a Spanish will is mention of a UK will written under 'British' law as there is no such thing, it must say 'England and Wales'.

Unless your spouse is specifically named in your Spanish Will as being the one to inherit on your passing, as previously stated, they will NOT automatically be given your share.
