Hello can anyone assist me in finding a carers position for a friend living in Torrevieja. She's willing to do any every day caring duties from washing, cleaning, shopping and hospital visits. She can also provides sleep over duties if required. If there's anyone who might need assistance in this area I would appreciate hearing from you.

Whilst understanding that your friend is probably aiming at the expat British population, I assume that she is fully registered and autónomo and carries the relevant insurance? If she isn’t autónomo, ie legally self employed, she is quite likely to run into trouble if she is found to be doing regular work, in other words being paid for services, as are her clients for using her. It would be advisable also to register with one of the official care services here aimed at expats, 3 C careers for example, although she will still have to be autónomo.

Me and my husband are moving to altea and we’re looking for jobs. I’m a support worker/carer and my husbands a labourer. Does anyone know of any vacancies ?

Are you already legally resident in Spain, or are you moving fromthe UK?

If you are still living in the UK and are UK passport holders you will need to apply for a visa from the Spanish consulate while you are still living in the UK.
