Good morning all,

My name is Richard I’m I have got a place in Torrevieja and I have also obtained my NIE, I  am currently looking for work, although my career back home in the UK was accountancy (with over 20 years of experience) I would not mind turning my hand to anything from office admin work to paintinghouses and good old old fashioned hard graff I am a very hard working individual. Ideally looking for a full time job and willing to travel if required. I am very friendly, approachable so if you fancy helping out a nice expat get work please get in touch.

You do realise that the covid problem has put many thousands of people out of work over the past 6 months who are desperate to do any type of work for less that minimum wage. Spain has one of the highest unemployment rates in the EU. You will need to be a fully legal resident these days before you will be considered for full time employment with residencia and healthcare.

Good luck

Steve

Hi Richard,

To be honest we have a place in Torre,  and have used local tradesmen for all our in house jobs and found them very competitive on price. I know you are just trying to find any work but I personally will always use local trades. Trying to support locals in this tough time.
