Check your electricity bill it will tell you what wattage you have coming into the property.

We had the same problem so we upped the wattage, this does come as an extra charge on your bill though, plus you will need a certificate from a qualified electrician confirming the wiring can take the extra wattage before the upgrade can take place.

Our property had been used as a holiday home so the wattage was perfectly adequate for that type of use, but when living in the property permanently with all the extra appliances being used it needed upgrading.

We upgraded our electricity from 3.75 kw to 5.75 kw, though as pix said you pay extra for this.

We got the Electrian in he checked our wiring was good and emailed me the certificate, cost I think was about €125 or there abouts.

It was sorted in less than a hour by removing the earth from the fuse box and switching the oven on to dry it out.

Same thing happened to us they said the oven would need to be replaced because it calcified. Did this twice both times it happened, it's a holiday home so oven is not being used often. I'm finding it hard to believe this issue is unsolvable and have to keep replacing the oven. Hmmm 🧐

I think you’ve been had there if 2 x ovens were deemed right offs just because they hadn’t been in use??
