This is probably already covered but does anyone do their own tax returns when renting. We will be renting out from June 6th and I have all the relevant documentation. Licence etc. Would anyone recommend it. (probably not) What's the next best thing. My lawyers both here in Ireland and on the Costa Blanca charge €150 per quarterly submission
There are companies who will do it for you for a lot less than your solicitor charges. Try "Spanish tax forms" a UK company, or Angar Taxation Services, or Taxadora. All can be found on google and if you have it done by a company you will be assured it will be done correctly to the latest terms. Calculations can change as in last year UK no longer in the EU the figure of 19% now becomes 24%, also the 1% or 2% figures are dependant on when the property,s cadastral value was revalued. Maybe if renting out is new to you have a company do it for you first, and future years copy their paperwork.
