Hi Andy,

Please contact SATS in Dolores:

https://www.satanimalrescue.com/

This animal charity is run by British and will not allow a dog to go to a killing station.  If you genuinely care for this puppy, please do the one last decent thing you can for her and ensure she does not end up in a rescue centre where the animals are routinely euthanised.

Kind regards,

Kim

How very interesting that several people have crawled out of the woodwork to judge the original poster of this message - shame on each one of you!

This forum was created to “help provide useful information in a friendly online community”

While I think the choice of words in the post was unfortunate, this person asked for help on this forum and then people decided to judge him - nobody knows the circumstances of this plea for help, many people’s circumstances change through no fault of there own (not to mention Covid!)

As an animal lover and previous dog owner, I will do my best to get Andy01 the help he is desperately seeking.

I know someone who is involved in a dog charity and will put some “feelers out”

I see Martyn1986 is also trying to help - so let’s hope there is a happy ending for Andy01 and the dog.

If you can be anything - just be kind 😍

Best of luck with this Andy01

Paddy,

It seems your own words are as ill-judged as Andy's.  No-one has "crawled out of the woodwork" and I, like Martyn, have already offered contact details for a dog rescue I personally know to be excellent.  If you do a little more reading, instead of your own "judging" of others, you'll see that Andy has had this puppy less than 6 months and it's absolutely clear that the words HE chose to use are what has upset other members.

Regards,

Kim

Th post may be poorly worded but we have a dog 13 years old now and part of the family since a pup. If I rented a property and had to move, then I would be looking for a new property that allowed pets. If you had a child, would you move to an adults only property and give your child away. May sound harsh but to an animal lover or pet owner it's exactly the same.

All these toxic comments are unhelpful what ever you may think you don't know a person's circumstances.  No one should be judged for asking for help.

He asked for help to re-home her & a lovely rescue has come forward who will care for her until she is rehomed.

We must try and remember that we never know the full circumstances, especially from a few lines of a forum post. Thank you to our members for helping the original author and for being friendly.

I just hope that beautiful dog gets settled,  one day if I can move over and stay in my flat I’d be a foster parent and probably a failed one cos I’d keep them, but time will tell. Good luck on finding his home, the title “Unwanted” is the wrong way to to get help in my opin
