No you can do it via Facebook, but your account needs to be zero and no insurances etc

If  you have  Property  insurance  or any other direct debit  they will  need at least a month  notice  in writing ✍   .

Empty your account and then phone them to close the account, easily done 👍 As others have said, if you have any insurances with them, cancel these too, check your T & c’s to confirm notice period - if you can’t find this give at least 2 months notice to be on the safe side

No, and they won’t close it unless the balance is zero

Your new bank won’t close down your Sabadell account, you’ll need to do that yourself. They will set up any DD’s that you have, can I ask which bank you’ve gone to?

Are you resident or non-resident?

I believe it is the accounts for non residents that have the stinging costs, and believe that for residents there are accounts with minimal/ no fees - I’m sure a helpful resident on this site will advise you 👍
