Transferwise is the easiest method I have used to date. Have also used MoneyCorp, albeit years ago.
For large amounts, all that matters is the difference in rates offered.
Transferwise compares their rates with a few other major players and evidences both when they are the most competitive (from their selection of 'others' ) but also when they aren't. It at least feels transparent.
Transferwise most usually is the most competitive or joint top and, if not, my experience to date has been the difference has been negligible.
Their app is an absolute dream to use and so, overall, I would suggest Transferwise and I am happy to recommend them for competitiveness, ease of transfer and speed of delivery (often near as damn it instant on weekdays.)
Sounds like you either already have or are imminently to set up a bank in Spain.
It's a peripheral but may assist others so.. was with Sabadell for nearly four years. Expensive, disobliging, 'aloof in branch' and their debit card gets wrecked (instantly) if you store it in your mobile phone wallet. Have just last week changed to Bankinter. Cheaper, albeit similarly disobliging. At least their card works as it should.
Good luck out there!

Just wondering if bankinter able to process requests remotely, or if similar to Sabadell, in that they need you in branch, in person, to action even the most basic request (which slightly defeats the whole object of it being good for customers living outside Spain :-))
