We changed from my solicitor who were charging us 120€ each, this year to Spanish tax forms. A very helpful company with a personal service approach.

Go to the Suma office ask for the Suma bill for 2022. In future we will receive this by email. Non-resident tax is paid in arrears. You pay for 2022 in 2023.

They prepared the forms for both of us (joint owners) 35€ for both as they charge per property not per owner. They sent the forms by email. We went to our Bank, Banco Sabadell and paid our taxes for 2022. Spanish tax forms will pay them for you if you prefer for a small fee.  We saved 200€ by using their service.

This is how it is worked out:

A) VALOR CADASTRAL ( This is on the Suma bill as Valor cat. Base imponible)  36019.17

B) Multiplier = 2% ( Orihuela)

C) Taxable Benefit (A x B = C) 36019. 17  x 2% = 720.38

D ) Tax payable ( C x D) 720.38 x 24% = 172.90€ This is for the whole property, if its joint owners you pay half each of (D) 172.90 = 86.45 €

All I can say is save money. Hope that helps.

No Spanish tax forms filled in the tax return form for us.  You need the Suma bill from the Council to provide them with the Valor Cat. which is on the Suma bill.

No you don't have to book an appointment, go into the office at Playa Flamenca, take a ticket as wait until your number comes up on the display, make sure you have your passport and documents NIE and know your address.

The guy who dealt with us was very nice and said in future they will send the suma bill by email. Go early as sometimes the queues are long.
