Hi Jan. My wife and i are coming to Villamartin next week for 7 days and wont have a car. I was just wondering about access to La Zenia and Torrevieja  via bus? and approx. cost.

Thanks

Ian

I would seriously consider a car. Buses only run every hour to La Zenia. There are no buses from VM to Torrev.

VM is quite spread out so it can be hard going to supermarket etc without a car

Also your transfers from the airport to VM will probably cost more than a hire car for a week

There is a Blue bus Number 1  that does a complete circuit from The main entrance of Zenia Boulavard almost every hour high season it goes up to Villa Martin Plaza not sure where after that but you can catch it back from the Plaza to the Zenia  Boulivard and the buses to Torrevieja go 5 times a day Mon to Friday July & August the times aprox (usually late due to traffic) 10.20,  15.05,  18.50,  19.50,  and 22.20, you get off the bus in Torrevieja bust station a few mins walk from the sea. In the bus station which is small there is a ticket office they will give you a time table. Hope this helps.

Hi

Boulevard is the easiest place to catch a bus. You can search for buses here https://regular.autobusing.com/info?empresa=costa-azul&locale=es

The Boulevard appears as "c.c.boulevar Zenia" in the drop-down list. However the two small local buses don't appear on this link - don't know why!

Cheers

Steve
