How easy is to get from the Alicante bus station to the train station by car.

Its not far to walk. 5 or 6 mins.

Hi Maria, thank you for your reply to my queery regarding the distance from the autobus terminal to the train station. You have shown a map for walking but I will be driving and wanted to know if there are bus lanes that I must avoid. I will be going to Alicante on Saturday morning. I have been to the bus station before but have never been further than that in Alicante. Regards Brian.

Hi Brian
If you have been to the bus station before, then you will be familiar with the horrible, congested roundabout as you get there!
When you leave, get back on that roundabout and take the exit going directly inland (if you miss it, go back around the roundabout and use a different lane!), towards the train station. Keep in the left hand lane. At the roundabout, go straight across and make quite sure you stay in the left hand lane, and slow down! There is a small slip lane on the left which takes you into the train station car park. If you miss it, you'll probably find it difficult to navigate back to the train station! And beware the traffic lights!

Hi Steve, thank you for that info. Very kind of you. I have been looking in Google maps and they advise turning first right and first right again when coming out of the bus station.

OK, thank you Steve. My experience of the bus station was when I met a guy who worked for a company that took your car to some parking place and kept it for you until you came back from your holiday. I live in Torrevieja which is South of Alicante so I was arriving from there. As I say, I've never been past the bus station hence my queery about directions to the train station.

Hi Steve, just thought I'd let you know that I found the train station and yes I did miss that slip road and found it very bdifficult to get back to it again.
