Hi there, we were due to come out to Spain in April with Ryanair...the departure flight from UK has now been officially cancelled and I've applied for a refund. My worry is the return flight from Murcia doesn't show as cancelled which is odd?! Worried that Ryanair won't refund the return flight( don't trust them tbh) Anyone else had the same situation? Many thanks. DonnaB

If you use the link on the cancellation e-mail they sent you it takes you straight to a simple form and if both flights were on the same booking it will all be linked. Don't try going through your booking on their site.

Thanks Cheryl. I have applied for the refund on the official email form selecting flights to and from Spain on the booked trip, just thought it was strange that the return flight does not show red and cancelled yet too. Bit suspicious of Ryanair. 😣

Just give them time, they'll get there in the end. Ryanair alone, fly approx. 400000 passengers a day.

I was due to fly out with Ryanair at the end of March but, of course, the flight was cancelled. They gave me three choices but I opted for the refund. A number of days later I was sent another email telling me that due to the backlog it would take some time  to process my transaction. The money still hasn't been refunded to my account so, I suppose, I will just have to wait and hope. Do get the impression that they will leave it as long as possible, maybe in the hope that you will forget about it and not pursue the matter any further! I have friends who are stranded in Alicante and EasyJet and Ryanair are still letting them book seats on non existent flights home, even though both their fleets are, more or less, grounded. Even though your flight is"unofficially" cancelled they will not let you know that until much closer to the original flight date.
