Hi Geraldine, it is noticeable that you do not provide any articles to back up your statements, though you now have a friend and a relative who are affected. If they are truly unwell then I hope they get better soon.

Personally I take the opposite view to you and I would urge everyone to have the vaccine as soon as they can. Take a look at the attached:...

Hi Aitch

No problem we are all entitled to our own opinions indeed, I am just going to take my time until I see how the next 6 months go, as I feel it has only just been rolled out and it is too early to tell yet, I sure hope you are right though believe me, nobody wants to get out of this as much as I.

I have been seeing information that is not published on the usual press, so I guess lots of questions and curiosity at the moment, but as I say hopefully in the next 6 months we will know more

Kind regards

Geraldine

Hi Geraldine. Boris isn’t letting us fly anyway for now, so you will need to check on gov.uk site before you book flights out of the uk. Or watch the news channels - I’m sure it will be announced once Boris says we can leave the country, but I doubt it will be as soon as May.

Best wishes. Jackie x...

I've heard a whisper that international travel from the UK will be reopened from Monday the 17th of May.

But it also depends upon the country to which you are wishing to travel, doesn't it?   At present the Spanish borders are officially closed, plus many of the internal borders to different provinces are closed and even some towns are closed off!

It does indeed, some of the Greek islands are open now(which is where I'm going on the first flight in May) travel to Spain is (allegedly) opening around 20/21st of June(to the UK). I'm hoping to complete on my Apartment purchase as soon as travel to Spain is allowed in June.

Hi,

I can agree with you that it is Geraldine's right to refuse the vaccine, I'm afraid the rest of what you have written just looks like absolute rubbish to me. Luckily the take up, in the UK at least, has been high and the benefits are being increasingly acknowledged.

Yes, it is her choice as to whether or not to be vaccinated but people who spread misinformation and lies need to be challenged. I am afraid what you have said regarding it containing human foetal cells and passports being declared illegal in Europe are also false.  Please do your own research consulting authoritative sources before propogating falsehoods and lies.

Well that is good, hope all goes well for you, unfortunately my own experience has not been good, relative and friend of mine extreme direct effects not side but direct.  Fingers crossed, they will recover, thanks anyway

Hi Geraldine. Unfortunately I think that people will have to abide by the regulations set up by the country they wish to visit.

It also looks likely that the vaccine passport will be introduced and therefore no vaccine no admittance. Also there is currently 24.8 million vaccine doses been administered in the UK. As with any medication there can be people that have some form of side effect to any drugs, however it looks to be minimal in this case and the side effects will vary from person to person.

Looks to me like you may be staying in Ireland for the foreseeable. It is highly unlikely there will be any difference in the science in the next 6 months. Any unfortunate side effects to the population from any mass immunisation will not be seen for at least a generation.

Thats fine thanks I will stay put indeed, 6 months will tell a lot, some European countries have suspended AstraZeneca at moment because of some people having had blood clots, sure hope and pray those people will be ok, maybe all a coincidence, as healthy getting it then couple weeks in your death bed, thankfully we have time on our hands to monitor as we go along, thanks agsin

I think the 'death bed' remark is a bit dramatic !! Also there is NO PROOF that the vaccine is linked to the blood clots. Maybe more will come out in time.
