I hired a car from Firefly about 6 years ago and was impressed with the service. I think they are part of the Goldcar group.

Steer clear Mary, you’ll be cleaned out at their desk. Try Lara or Edi or others

I regularly use Firefly. I would choose them over others if the price is right.

They’re not too pushy about extra insurance when you tell them you have an annual policy. Service is good and cars are new.

I still take photos of the car before I leave the airport for my own peace of mind. I recently discovered a scratch on the wheel arch which wasn’t on the paperwork. I didn’t see it until I arrived   but it was clear on my photos. When I returned the car, they saw it and asked if I’d taken any pictures. I showed her and she was happy to sign it off.

I was in Alicante Airport yesterday taking a relative back to catch a flight to Scotland and noticed the Record vehicle hire company has moved their main office to another part of the airport. There is a sign on their shutters outside their original office informing you where to go now, new directions are, take a left as you come through arrival’s and there’s a red sign to direct you to their new office. Don’t know if this is permanent or temporary.

 Jim
