Passport not stamped on exit from Spain - Page 7

...s with residency were not stamped, I eventually found police office near to exit on right, walked in two doors, to find a officer at his desk, and explained my situation to him, showed him my travel details on phone, he spoke with another officer, and realised immediately I had just flew in seeing my second entry stamp, which I confirmed, he then adjusted exit stamp tool to 16th October tested it on paper and stamped my Exit :-) Result, he then thanked me for coming in!!! So my advice to everyone is on arrival go to polica local office with all travel documentation you have, I’d advise against waiting until you leave again!! I hope everyone gets a helpful and understanding police officer as I did,

Knowing of all the previous problems mentioned I asked him to stamp it and he duly obliged 

It seems they really do not know what they are doing !

...so assume the same for any other Airport or if travelling by car etc, there will always be police there on arrival to assist!! You just might need to find them as I did!! I went to guardia civil office first, and they told me policia local deal with that and pointed me to the office, Whatever the case, deal with it on point of entry/ arrival.

My parents are in the same position... left Alicante after a five day trip in October without a 'return' passport stamp, having gone through a passport scanner. No boarding cards as proof as they shredded their printed copy, just booking confirmation emails....

I'm thinking it might just be easier for them to buy new passports (which will obvs have no stamps at all in) before they return to Spain in March, as they'll be arriving into a ferry port then. And they're a bit too old (and now worried about this situation) to be reckoning on finding a nice, English speaking police officer to put it all right.
