Issue with gas water heater

Thanks for your reply - unfortunately the unit is actually just over the year - so not covered by a warranty - they did leave a book (no warranty info tho), although it is in Spanish but have tried the obvious from the pictures, but with no luck - it does heat the water but it just does not keep providing the water long enough for a full shower i.e. water goes cold and then after a while will come through hot again.

We may well try junkers direct in any event - I am sure they will be able to shed some light on it.

Kim - warranty in Spain is for two years.

Hi In the whole of the EU the law on guarantees is for 2 years, good and services, without exception!!  The supplier cannot state his own terms, this is FORBIDDEN under the law!   Just Google the law on guarantees in the EU and you will confirm.

If the supplier argues, as they do, point out that HE also has a 2 year guarantee from his supplier ad infinitum..  This is a law meant to improve quality because, eventually, the product ends up back at the manufacturer.

Thanks all information much appreciated only problem is on contacting junkers they do not instal so they are not responsible for any installation faults + we have no idea who did instal - luckily have found a local plumber who is going to take a look + point us in right direction as to where the problem lies + take it from there - thanks again 

Hi had same problem with Junker boiler. Found that shower head had restricter valve fitted in handle which was covered in calcium. That caused boiler to cut out due to restricted flow/overheating. Removed valve and problem solved. Lot more water through shower head now do quicker shower!!
