Morning everyone, im thinking of buying on Mirador Del Meditterraneo, i am flying out in December to view anything for sale, obviously you can only do so much research and so would love to speak to the lovely people that already have property there, its a big scary step so it looks lovely but getting mixed reports on communal fees doubling and damp, please can anyone tell me if your well looked after on there or if it is in a bit of dis repair any pointers good or bad i would appreciate thankyou 🙂

If your location on the forum page  is correct them I assume this place is in Villamartin, can you confirm that?

Hi

1) damp is common in Spanish homes  because they're just not built to stay dry when it rains! It's a trade off against the fact that it hardly ever rains!

2)community fees can vary a lot (in any community) depending on what needs maintaining! Pools are the most common things to need repairing - also security gates and private roads. But you don't have to live in a community, you could buy a "standalone" house and decide for yourself when to do repairs.

3) in that part of Villamartin you will feel pretty isolated if you haven't got a car, and it is a hilly area!

4) I can't comment on that specific community coz I've never been there!

Cheers

Steve
