With regard to No. 3, internet and wifi. If you install an alarm system and maybe even a wifi camera, if your wifi is left on all the time you or your family or keyholders etc can have direct and immediate access, using phone apps, meaning that you become your own monitoring company . Just something to consider for peace of mind
