Thanks. That’s exactly what I’m after. Where was that please ? I’ve tried a couple near me and they didn’t sell them.

Thanks

I live in Benidorm so a bit to far from Villamartin. I bought mine from one of the larger Chinese warehouses locally.

You could try an electrical stores or amazon.

Further to a Steve’s post you can also buy rechargeable batteries from the middle aisle in Lidl/Aldi.

If like me you have a battery charger you can pop them in there occasionally to give them a bit of a boost.

Hi

Try a Ferreteria (ironmonger). The one almost opposite The Abbey in La Florida is highly recommended - very knowledgeable and helpful.

Cheers

Thanks all

tiny garden lights have a button cell soldered in, the better ones have aaa rechargeable which you can get on amazon, the bigger ones have the 3.7 volt 18650 which you can buy on amazon with a charger, i swap mine around and give them a charge now and again, the 18650 are also in fans n stuff, some soldered and some on a plug, get a voltmeter and some chargers and a soldering iron  and you can keep stuff going. i also use recharg in my card shuffler, car rat scarers (live in the campo), intercoms, remotes, ...

Hi,

Bit of a random one but does anyone know where I can get replacement batteries for solar lights?

I’ve tried Leroy Merlin, Media Mart and several Asia markets but no joy.

Thanks

Hello try eBay or Ali Barba

That is the best store for DIY things, very helpful staff and some speak perfect English, which is always helpful when you're trying to find something. They are also cheaper then Leroy Merlin on many items.

They are all 3.7 vols and you charge them with a 4.2 volt regulator charger. Do not use a charger that is just pumping energy into the battery.  Do not use something that 5, 6 or 10 volts. It needs to be limited to 4.2 volts.
