Could someone tell me what other kind of fees I would incur when buying in Villamartin.

E.G. property tax, community charges, stamp duties etc.

Add 12% on top of the sale price. This covers stamp duty and legal fees.

All other charges are paid after you complete and are dependent on what and where you buy.

Keith

The same happened to us we had a €1500 tax bill for under valuation. Totally different from the U.K. but in essence it’s just a government scam to get more revenue. I wonder if they will reimburse if you sell it later on and it didn’t meet the governments valuation? Doubt it

I was sent a revaluation and told I owed 8700 euros 'complementaria'.  I engaged a good lawyer and it took a year but I won my case.  It is worth fighting if the amount is significant.
