Regarding the natural gas issue, who or where can I find the areas or towns that are supplied with natural gas, anyone out there know.

Your town hall should be able to advise you.

So did we back in 2005.   I still continue to use an estufa (gas heater) and have only recently purchased the third gas bottle this year.   Before the one that I purchased in January the previous one was in February 2019.

Is Estufa a model. I arrive to live in Torrevieja to live and I feel I need a quick solution. Could you suggest where to buy one from? Thanking you, Paul

Estufa is Spanish for stove/heater.   They can be purchased from many Repsol or Cepsa shops, Carrefour, Leroy Merlin, Aki and some ferreterias (hardware stores).

Remeber one of the byproducts of bottled gas is water - so portable gas will relase quite a bit of moisture into the house which in turn can make it feel less warm soon afterwards and also promote damp etc. This is the case everywhere not just Spain.

I don’t have much of a damp problem at all and have lived here for nearly 15 years.   I have learned to keep furniture a few inches off outside walls.

No. If I was i would probably invest in central heating. I do about 2 mths a year out there. Lock the house up end of November then open it up Feb 1/2 term

We had central heating put in well worth the spend for long term living. Just feels like a home when it drops to 7 and rains.
