On Monday we purchased 2 drinking mugs from La Hoya Hermosa in Cabo Riog, the reason I make the comment about the purpose of the purchase will soon become clear, the mugs were not vastly expensive at €10.90.

2 days later I was making a cuppa, while pouring the water into one of mugs heard a crack and the hot water started leaking from the mug, on closer inspection a crack had appeared from the rim down and round the base of the mug.

Today I returned said mug to the shop only to be told it should not be used for hot drinks! what did they think I was going to be drinking out of it? another suggestion they made was the mug must have been cold when i put the hot water in?, really in this weather, they declined to exchange it or

offer a refund, appallingly customer service. If the amount had not been so small i would have asked my bank to do a charge back.

Lesson learned don't put hot water in mugs, great example of style over function.

Hi it' discusting the way the staff treat you. It' oversley a fault in the mugs. So they should be replaced. You should have asked for a complaints book every shop or store should have one.

Chinese crap I guess, but as we have all bought on price on the past myself included the European pottery industry has declined
