Hi I'm in a dilemma, I was informed that only one of us was needed to go to the town hall for a padron, my husband has gone back to the UK to complete some work. What happens if I cant get the padron even if we live here. Can we not get the TIE card without it ?.I've only been here for 3 weeks and my head is going to explode with all the paperwork. I love it here I'm trying to find my feet.

No Im afraid not, the padron certificate is a vital document to go towards your TIE application. You both need to be registered on the padron as you will have separate applications to produce for your TIEs.
