State of roads - Page 2

I have driven in the roads mentioned. I have been here just under 2 years and the road is getting worse. I seem to spend my time looking down for potholes while driving. Not good at all.

Also whats the point of saying about potholes in the UK. Whats that got to do with this complaint?

I went to our town hall in Guardamar before the rain to inform them we had a couple of pot holes outside our house, the guy made a note of it on a scrap piece of paper said something in Spanish which I didn’t understand so I thought it would be at least a month before any repairs were done. 3 days later all the pot holes along our road were filled, brilliant service. Maybe if people took the trouble to inform the town hall then these a lot of these roads would be repaired, if they don’t know then nothing will be done 

Hi Jan, anyone who works at our town hall would already be aware of the problem here, as they must use the roads to get to work. It's not just the odd pot hole here and there, it's 90% of all roads. However, it's good to hear that your council responded so quickly. Well done!

Thanks Pete. Whoever gets the contract they won't be able to do much without the money. I have been here since November 2015, and haven't seem any repairs done to side roads in that time. Perhaps the vehicle road tax is too small? Although, I suspect raising this would not cover the cost of all the works that need doing. There's not enough cars, thank God! A week back in London would surely make me feel even luckier to be living in this lovely place, despite the roads! Happy Workers Day 😎😎

Likely as not Hacienda will be missing out too.
