Hi Richard,

Do you receive your bills?  If so, you can go onto:

www.suma.es

Select the 'Taxpayers' section, enter your bill number and pay with your debit or credit card online.  You'd need to set yourself a reminder to pay before the deadline each year.

Alternatively, you could go into your bank or local SUMA office and ask them to set up the DD.

Kind regards,

Kim

Unless you've kept your abogado (lawyer) on a retainer, you should receive your bill direct in the post.  Timing depends on the area where you live, but you should receive your bill during August for payment by the first week of October.  As you're not going to be in Spain until October, there's a good chance you'll miss the payment deadline, so it sounds like the lawyer may be your best option.

Kind regards,

Kim
