We have the pre-installation set up in our flat in Benidoleig. So now we need to put in an air-con unit. Anyone operating in the area that would be suitable to do this for us?

Who is the best internet provider for a property in Espana la Vieja please?

I had my SIP card stolen with my wife,s and with my Wallet. The health centre replaced my card no problem, asked me if my wife spent any time In the UK. I told them that she had just returned after 2 months. I was then refused a replacement card and informed to contact the National health UK. As we had both worked in Spain and paid for our health care there We both got Spanish Insurance. I nhave twice attempted to get a sip for her with out sucsses   

We bought a house in Spain and completed on 1st April.  Prior to moving over we applied for a non-lucrative visa - my mum's was accepted but my husband's and mine was rejected on the basis that we weren't able to support ourselves financially which we are.  So I emailed a solicitor here to help us with an appeal.  In the meantime we have moved here on the basis that our appeal would be sorted out within our three month window. The person dealing with it all was less than forthcoming and subsequently our time for the appeal runs out in a couple of days.  I also emailed the Spanish consulate in London but they only got back to me yesterday, after three emails.  I have spoken to a solicitor in UK who wants to charge £1100 plus VAT each plus disbursements to reapply as he says there is no time to appeal now!

Our rejection letter stated that we had one month to appeal to UK or two months to appeal to the High Court of Justice in Madrid.  I think we still have the second option open to us.  Has anyone encountered this problem or had to appeal via the HCJ as I just don't know what to do!

Any assistance greatly appreciated.

I have been a tax resident since 2013 and received a dependent SIP card as my husband was a pensioner.  Now as a pensioner and having registered my S1, I am being charged 10% on my medication which was previously free.  Is this correct?  Or something connected with Brexit?  My pension is not enough to pay tax here.

We are a retiring doctor and businessman husband moving to Costa Blanca this year. We have researched ad nauseum for our new home, and the sea view we can afford does not exist in our budget. So, we are going for the dream house and garden in a good neighbourhood with easy access to the sea.

Currently, we are focused on the Elche to Santa Pola area.

If anyone has personal knowledge of the area, the good bits and the bad we would love to hear from you.
