I have never paid suma for my apartment which is only occupied approximately 2 weeks a year. How can I  start paying this . Any help would be appreciated

I arrived at Alicante airport last week and went through passport control with my Irish passport 

I travel in and out of Alicante every couple of weeks 

On this occasion my passport was stamped with an entry stamp.

I didn’t question it as the queue was huge and didn’t want to hold everyone up

Is this a mistake? Has anyone else had their Irish passport stamped on entry to Spain?

Hello everyone,

I have a question that i hope someone would be able to give me some opinions on....

We have lived her for nearly 9 years are Spanish resident, we own our our home but have decided that we are going to sell up and not buy another property but to Rent,  we are still going to live in Spain or Poss the Canary Islands, our property is for sale at the moment so would like to make the move this year... fingers crossed. 

We have had an Apartment in the past and now live in an old Finca/caves & Land and found throughout the years a lot of cash has gone into maintenance and the buying and selling process that we would really like not to get into anymore.

We have 3 adult children in the UK who we would like to spare the process of inheriting a Spanish property and all the red tape that this involves.

If anyone could give me some idea how they have found renting the pros and cons... i would be interested to hear from any renters!!
