Hi Mags,

The first office is actually easier to find!  I 'drove' the last section on Google street view, so that I knew what landmarks to look out for before we did the journey for real.  It's west of the city centre, so the worst traffic we encountered was at the very last roundabout, but only because we went in 'rush hour' for 9am appointments.  Whatever time your appointment, just go early and give yourself plenty of time - there's a cafe on the corner of the street, about 500m from the foreigners' office.

You don't need a translator.  I had all my papers organised and didn't wait for the staff member to ask me for individual documents, I just handed him the lot and he sorted out what he wanted, giving me back what he didn't need.

Good luck!

Kind regards,

Kim

Hi Debbah,

Not sure which address you're asking for?

If it's with regard to making a residency application, the application and fingerprints are done at:

Oficina de Extranjeria, Calle Ebanisteria 4-6, Alicante 03071   (appointment required)

and the office from which to collect TIEs is:

Calle Campo de Mirra 6, Alicante   (no appointment required)

The second office is about 2km from the first.

Kind regards,

Kim

Someone I know is using them also, good to hear they have been useful. Was it free or was there a cost involved?

Just out of interest will they help you through the next stage gate of the EX23?

This is a free service to people applying in Alicante.

They will provide all the necessary paperwork for stage 2 but it is up to you to book appointment.

Hi Kimmy ,

After initially getting an immediate appointment on the online booking system which we couldn’t take as we didn’t have the payment/ photos sorted, we’re now unable to find any appointments at all after dozens of attempts. Did you have the same issue before you were successful?

Thank you.

Hi Mags,

I was fortunate enough to have a choice of appointments, but that was back in September.

Feedback I've seen on several different forums is that you just have to keep on trying.  I have to say I was pleasantly surprised to hear you'd managed to get an appointment, but I suspect it was a cancellation, as appointments seem to be like gold dust at the moment.

Kind regards,

Kim

I don’t understand why you can’t put in a request for an appointment & get an email or text offering whatever’s available, then just pick an option. I had mine confirmed at 11.50 this morning after trying from 08.45 & I’m still trying to get one for my husband . Again it would make sense if you could make a double appointment Kimmy .

Mags keep trying to book your husbands slot but I will advise that despite my wife and I managing to book two slots 2 weeks apart, mine coming first, the desk clerk agreed to process both of ours on the same day. This for the ex23 appointment.

Might be worth being prepared for this and going in together - if they say no they say no - if they say yes jobs a good'un :)
