What redress is there when a stranger parks their car blocking your driveway when there isn’t a no parking restriction in place for your property?

Not really helpful if for no other reason than the car would be stranded and blocking the drive for even longer while it's owner found a way to inflate them again, it almost certainly be illegal too.It would also be pretty obvious who had let them down possibly leading to a confrontation or revenge.
Not saying it doesn't happen but I don't think many drivers would deliberately park knowing that they were blocking someone's drive so is clearly obvious that he's blocking you?
Is it an OFFICIAL drive, that being one with a proper drop kerb on the pavement, in that case you should call the police.
If on the other hand you're just mounting the pavement to access a space at the front of your property then you're on dodgier ground.
A polite word with the owner might be all it needs so always try the simple thing first.
