Hello there,
I would completely agree with Chris. We've moved here not long ago. Relatively close to amenities, both in San Miguel and Villamartin, one good restaurant within walking distance and the area is quieti at the moment but expecting that to change in the very near future. Three developments on the go down the hill at the moment:
Patrimi "boutique homes" partly established and second phase to begin soon, Hestia are developing a site for 23 luxury villas and likewise LHS for 32 luxury villas. My view is they are small developments and would breath a little life into La Canada so environmental impact not too great. If you have dogs or like walking, running or mountain biking there are a number of paths in the nearby hills
I hope this helps answer you query.
