Hi
I have searched and just cannot find this mentioned anywhere, I even asked a Spanish estate agent who said, oh that's a myth that's sprung up!
If anyone has a link to these figures on the official page, I would be grateful!

If you mean what income you need as a non EU, I would check out Citizens Advice Spain - they have loads of links on their website
It is much higher than an EU citizen but if we have a transition period next year, I understand you can apply for residency with the lower amounts.
Sorry Tracey yes a lot of talk about non EU applicants need upto €3000 per month, yet couldn't find it officially anywhere
Here's the link https://www.citizensadvice.org.es/faq/minimum-resources-residency-applications/

Wow thanks Tracey, yes it appears to be correct!!
Another post on here with people worrying they won't be able to live the dream, sadly looks true as well
Resources for Non EU Citizens:
400% IPREM in 2018 amounts to 2.151,36 Euros a month, 25.816,32 euros annually, for individual applicant.
100% IPREM for every additional family member, amounting to 537,84 Euros a month, 6.454,03 annually.

Oh it's definitely official
But I'm wondering IF you bought and had a NIE before Brexit actually kicks In ,(whenever )and moved over between Brexit and the deadline they set in 2020 could residency and the EU level of incoming still apply?
Estate agents are very positive, as you'd expect, even lawyers, but its us not them who may end up up the creek!
Well its back on!
We have put down a deposit on a apt, have given P.O.A to a recommended lawyer ( a scary thing to do I know ) saw a notary at home
who has sent all our docs off and the NIE is in the pipeline through the lawyer.
Ducks are being lined up right now...!
A question please ,when you pay your final payment on the purchase of the property face to face, did you all use bankers drafts, from a spanish account or bank transfers from a exchange broker or some other form of payment?
AND... IF you had given POA was it easy to cancel after the process of buying was complete?
thanks
We did a banker’s draft. I was just wary of bank transfers. The bank reduced the fee for the draft as we took out their home insurance
we used World First to transfer Sterling to our Spanish bank account.
