Hi is there anyone that can accommodate 2 cats in a cage that have a ferry booked from Spain to uk? We are trying to get home for my husband to receive urgent medical treatment (chemo) they won’t allow him to have it here in Spain. We can get a ferry with just the dog as she can go in kennels but not the cats as they have no pet cabins available. I know it’s a long shot but we need to get back ASAP and I can’t find it in my heart to just leave them here, I can’t do that they are our family pets.
many thanks

Hayley

Hi,

I'm sorry to hear about your husband and predicament and how stressful it must be for you.

If you can't get help transporting your cats I know the the Feline Friends cattery in Dolores is highly recommended and might be able to accommodate and look after your cats whilst you're away but I understand that you may not know when you're coming back, if at all. You could also try them to see who they would recommend to transport your beloved moggies for you. I do know the stress and dilemma as have cats of my own that we transported over here from England many years ago.

Good luck and hope your husband makes a speedy recovery.

I can recommend animalcouriers.com as we have used them. They travel here regularly, are perfectly legal, insured and  registered. They will, however, require all the legal travel paperwork and certificates for your pets.
