Wanted: Used car in good condition

Can any ex-pats give me advice on how to buy a used car here? We just need a little run-about to get to shops and for short excursions. Please tell us how you did it. Or are you someone who now wants to sell your car? Many thanks!!

It is much more complicated buying a used car in Spain and debts stay with the car, such as HP, unpaid road tax and fines so be very careful if buying privately.

Would recommend Auto Roig, they have two sites either side of the Cabo Roig roundabout on the N332. When we first came out to Spain and were looking for a wee run around we were well looked after by James. All the legal stuff was sorted by him, change of ownership, new ITV( MOT ), service and warranty, help with getting insurance.
