Buying a new car
Hi
We are moving to Algorfa in November, and looking at buying a new car. Any suggestions on where to buy and tips would be grateful.
Thanks
Just go to the main dealer of the car make you want if it is a ‘new’ car you are after, I always go to my nearest Serrauto concession as they offer all the makes under the VW umbrella but there are many makes available elsewhere, Google is your friend.
If you are after a used car then I can’t help but be prepared to be shocked by the high used car prices as compared to the UK.

Hi Kevin and welcome to the forum.
I agree with Paolo51, buy new from a main dealer. Second-hand cars hold their price in Spain, so unless you're after a cheap run-around, you may as well buy new.
We went to Avenida de las Cortes Valencianas in Torrevieja, where a large number of main dealers have showrooms, e.g. Nissan, Kia, Hyundai, Ford, Peugeot, Mercedes, etc. We didn't have any preconceived ideas of what we wanted, so just spent a half day looking around all the showrooms until we narrowed it down.
Kind regards,
Kim
