Are there seperate community charges if an apartment has a garage. Can anyone tell me. We are in Fontana 2. Is there a discount for early payment.

I would say No to both questions

Community charge is paid by the residents for sharing the same facilities, ie pool (maintenance/cleaning), road surface upkeep, cutting back of any trees, grass cutting etc…If the garage is your property only then this should not make sny difference to the community costs, and you should pay the same as everybody else

Yes there is usually a separate community charge for garages in an apartment block. Not every apartment will have a garage and some garages (parking spaces) may have been sold to neighbours who do not live in the apartments.

In our apartment block there are 2 separate communities, one for the apartments and one for the garages. Payment goes to a different bank account and although the AGM is held on the same day for both, only owners can attend each.

Don't forget that your IBI and non resident tax, if applicable, will require separate payment for apartment & garage.

Discounts for early payment can be discussed at the AGM.
