Hi, Has anyone out there taken out an Equity Release on a Spanish property, if so what did it involve?

Hi, I am not sure if this is done now in Spain, it used to be available ten or so years ago but I have not heard of it lately. If it was available I would be interested myself.

Hi I think the problem in Spain is that Spanish banks will do equity release but want to know where the money is going and will not allow it to go out of Spain and i thought Franco was dead? My argument is it is my house my money and i can do what i want with it BUT NO
I may have found a financial institution in England that will do it i am waiting for a definate reply if positive i will let you know
